Saturday’s pot luck dinner plans at my friend’s place didn’t quite turned out as planned.. So it ended up at my place instead. So long story short, instead of making just creme brulee as planned, i made eggs benedict and cream of mushroom soup on top of it. Hahahaha!

Vanilla Bean Icecream

Had this strange urge to make vanilla icecream yesterday. Hahaha yes urge to make it, not eat it. So anyway. Here it is.

Ondeh Ondeh

On sunday, i was at my boyfriend’s aunt’s place for dinner. I call her Auntie Christine. She’s an awesome cook/baker! She let me take a look at the many cookbooks she had. Then i chanced upon a book about Nyonya Kuehs & Desserts.

Have never made anything of this sort before (I mostly bake if you notice). I love to eat them though hahahaha, so i was rather keen to try it out. She graciously lent the book to me
